12 months to 2.5 years
Toddlers learn best when they are in a warm, safe, nurturing environment. They are extremely curious and learn through play, exploration and observation. There is also a wide range of abilities as each child achieves his or her own developmental milestones. The Toddler Program at St. Philip’s recognizes that during this stage, children’s needs change rapidly. Our teachers are warm and nurturing, knowledgeable about child development, and understanding of the fact that each child will learn and grow at his own pace. Teachers track the developmental progress of each child. If necessary, teachers quickly identify developmental delays and work with parents to provide early intervention support.
