St. Philip’s Child Development Center is one of the very few state-of-the-art child development centers in the Anacostia community and has one of the largest nationally accredited infant care programs in metropolitan Washington. The Center’s children range in age from three months to four and one half years old. Forty children are enrolled in the infant care program and thirty-three are in the toddler and preschool programs.

St. Philip’s participates in the subsidized tuition reimbursement program operated by the District government.
St. Philip’s is a non-profit, community-based organization with 501(c)(3) status, subject to annual federal audits, which has continuously provided quality early childhood education at the same site since 2004.
The Center is located within the St. Philip the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Historic Anacostia, is open 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
